Term 2, 2024 Newsletter

Well, what a term! It seems with a blink of an eye it’s already halfway into this year!

I wish to thank the hard work of the teaching and administration staff, who have provided their expertise on delivering an outstanding teaching program while making sure the kinder is compliant and that our loved ones are safe. It is a delight to see how much enjoyment and growth they are all having by being part of this wonderful kinder community.

I also wish to thank the parents who have volunteered to be members of the Kindergarten Committee this year. Your enthusiasm is brilliant. Amidst that, the working bee volunteer group this term did a phenomenal job. Volunteering is a way of learning to make our lives into a process of just giving and being willing.

Next term, we are hoping to start with some new carpet rugs for our kinder room! You will also hear from your child’s Teacher about arranging a Parent/Teacher interview which is your chance to discuss your child’s progress at kinder this year.

GET INVOLVED! Thanks to all parents who participated in our Tupperware fundraiser in Term Two. In Term Three we will be raffling off some additional Tupperware items and also starting our recycling program where you will be able to leave glass bottles, plastic bottles and aluminum cans in the kindergarten foyer which we will exchange for a refund of 10 cents per item.

From the team, wishing everyone a safe, healthy and relaxing term break and we are looking forward to seeing you all back for another term of learning on Monday 15th June.

Warm regards,

Emily Tokalau-Tabualevu
